The Evergreen Trio

Banda Indie, Emo 90's de Rockford, Illinois. Una de las ultimas bandas independientes Post-Mineral que trataron de ofrecer una salida indie al decadente genero. Realizaron un sonido derivado de los acordes de "The Blacktop Cadence" como tambien de "The Promise Ring" pero algo mas lento, con una voz que recuerda a "Joan Of Arc" y en algunos aspectos a "Mineral", agregaron a esta base melodica los perfectos estallidos de una caja de ritmos, que en algunos casos ayuda a mantener la hilacion, creando un sonido gratificante y nostalgico manteniendo la escencia magica del emo 90's.

OFWGKTA MEGAPOST

OFWGKTA (Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All) have been receiving a lot of well deserved hype as of late. They kick ass, dont give a fuck about anything, and make sick ass beats. If you are a first time listener I would start off with "Radical" since it has all of the members on it, and does a good job of showcasing each of their respective styles. All of the releases are pretty rad, but Tyler,The Creator's Bastard is by far my favorite. If Satan was a 19 year old black kid who liked to skateboard and rap, he would probably sound like Tyler and write the same lyrics. Sick and twisted stuff, yet oddly entertaining. They also hate Steve Harvey, and so do I.

The Hated Megapost

Annapolis, Maryland activa desde 1985 hasta 1990. El Midwest Emo sin esta banda no tendria sentido, ni existiria o si a pesar hubiera existido no llegaria a ser el movimiento musical que fue. "Revolucion Summer" trajo a esta banda con aptitudes bien dispares (tanto en lo Acustico y en el Punk Rock) y asi lo demuestra "No More We Cry", pero la influencia del Rock Alternativo no tardaria en llegar. "The Replacements"y "R.E.M" prepararian el camino para "Like The Days" y para la obra maestra del Emo "Every Song" del cual el sonido el sonido desesperado y de hermosas melodias definiria al Emo por una decada mas, para los que siguen creyendo que el emo en los 90's fue reinvencion, aqui esta una de las pruebas de la evolucion.
