Banda Indie Rock y Slowcore de Chapel Hill, carolina del norte. Fueron una de las maravillas, cuya mente maestra fue Sooyoung Park, revoluciono la forma de hacer Indie Rock, con un lenguaje de tensionado de guitarras, melodias y distorsion, nos hablan del amor no correspondido, de la vida en tiempos dificiles y el regocijo de superarlo. Influyeron desde "Sunny Day Real Estate", "Texas Is the Reason" hasta "Death Cab For Cutie". poseen trabajos fantasticos, cada una difiere bastante del otro debido a los constantes cambios de integrantes que sufrio la banda; "Headsparks" el que ya es considerado todo un clasico del Slowcore y "Are You Driving Me Crazy?" que es toda una oda a la nostalgia con memorables acordes e intros de guitarra, pero sin duda "The Problem With Me" es el mejor regalo de "Seam" para el mundo y representa al Indie Rock en los 90's, un clasico de culto que sigue llamando a explorar mas el tan sublime mundo del Indie Rock.

Glassjaw

I'm only posting this because they are one of my favorite bands of all time. They broke up forever ago but recently got back together and are finally touring again. If you've never listened to Glassjaw I'm sure you've heard the name and you should stop sleeping on it. They are one of the most original, intense, and influential post-hardcore bands ever (in my opinion). "Everything..." is their first LP released in 2000. "Worship and Tribute" was their second record, released in 2002. It's a masterpiece. "Our Color Green" is their newest set of songs since getting back together.

I personally consider Bravo Fucking Bravo to be one of the most unappreciated Screamo bands of 21st century. They had two releases a demo and II (their LP). BFB has L'antietam like tone and guitar work at times, combined with a constant pulsing Rock n' Roll rhythm, throw in some catchy chants and you have a great Screamo album. BFB's strength is really in that they can pretty much do anything well and they seamlessly mesh different styles into their own unique blend. Enjoy!

Vanilla

Banda Emo, Screamo de Francia. Esta banda altamente contribuyo al surgimiento de la escena hardcore francesa junto con "Jasemine" y "Ivich", tambien dejaria un perdurable legado en la evolucion sonora del genero. Con un prospero sonido influenciado por las bandas de "Gravity Records" y "Ebullition Records", llevaron su visceral sonido en un demo que seria una de las primeras grabaciones del genero en europa. Para despues de esto la banda comenzó a dar un giro con la dinamica fuerte-suave; esteticamente similar a "Indian Summer", consolidando asi un estilo dentro del genero al que mucho despues bandas como "La Quiete" y "Suis La Lune" realizarian. La llegada de la nueva decada hizo que la banda sentara sus torturados ruidos para converger en un juego de crecientes guitarras limpias y de partes instrumentales, muy bien estructurada en "Plays "Fantastique"" y ya para despues la influencia progresiva del Post Rock no tardaria en llegar tal como lo muestra la cancion "Heartbreak" que forma parte de la trilogia de "Our Dreams Walking Their Way".
