My latest artist submission comes from Borrowed Beams of Light out of Virginia, self-described themselves as “TWO DUDES, FUSED TOGETHER, IN A TOTALLY 80s WAY”. This self-released EP is chock-full of super bright indie pop created by two (hopefully) happy dudes. The singalong melodies in “You Have a Sun!!!” and the ultra-pop tune “Kids are Great!!!” are just one more reason to get pumped for summer! Check out some of their other sweet write-ups on blog friends Weekly Tape Deck and Get Off The Coast. Keep a close eyes on these kids, I have a feeling I’ll be posting more of their music in the future.

P.S. New Noise For the Youth recently passed 2000 hits, which is so freaking awesome I can’t even begin to say. Thanks to all of you for checking and coming back to my blog!
